In the beginning we did count our lights. However through the years it has become too many to count. So the answer is lots or too many to count.

It is stored in every nook and canny around our home. However this is becoming more and more difficult every year. There is always some part of the display that can be seen around our home throughout the year.

12 equal payments. I'm not worried about the bill as long as I see smiling faces when the light come on. However I have converted most of my lights to LED which has helped.

When I was 16 I found a wood working book which had a mechanical Santa, Sleigh and Reindeer design. I built this in our basement and placed it on the peak of our house. Since then I have added more and more every year. There are pieces in our display that are over 30 years old.

I take the month of November off from work each year to build the display. My goal is to have the display up and running for December 1st. Some years are more challenging than others.
